* Handy Ion Meter is an ion electrode type meter specially
designed to measure ammonia.
* In high alkaline range, the ammonium ions contained in the
sample is changed to ammonia gas. The ammonia gas passes through
ammonia-permeating membrane and enters into the electrodes,
changing the pH of the electrolyte according to the concentration
degrees of the ammonia gas. Membrane-type ammonia electrodes
measure this pH change and ammonia concentration is detected.
* Our company has engaged in developing pH electrodes for long
time and has developed a chip-type small sensor. This sensor
enables quicker and more stable ammonia measurements simply by
dropping a pH adjustment agent into sample water.
* The body is made of chemical and impact resistant polycarbonate
and is built to prevent slipping. Anti-condensation structure
makes it strong against condensation and corrosive gas
environment. Large liquid crystal display indicates measured
values. Edit key function edit automatically. Auto-hold function
automatically determines the stable values.
